Creative District Curator
PT opening averaging about 20 hours/week for a small, not-for-profit business. Requires coordination of planning, organizing, and production of assigned events. Creative/artistic/outgoing personality required. Previous experience in arts and culture, event planning, booking bands/entertainment and contract/plan implementation is preferred. Assigned tasks might include writing of reports and press releases; developing promotional e-mails; committee work; grant writing; sponsorship development related to projects, events, and promotions; and attendance at designated meetings and events.
Experience using InDesign, Eventbrite, Facebook and other social media strongly preferred. Events include evenings and/or weekend work.
