What is the Los Alamos Facade Loan Program?

The Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation (LACDC) facade loan program is designed to assist local businesses improve the exterior of their buildings. The Facade Improvement loan program is available to any business in Los Alamos County located in a commercial zone. Loans are available in the amount of $500 to $25,000 and are 0% interest. LACDC has made up to $100,000 a year available under this program. LACDC partners with Enterprise Bank & Trust for administration of the loans.

Explicitly excluded from eligibility for this program is construction of new facilities or building interiors, additions or improvements to the side or back of buildings. Any side of a building that directly faces a street and is in the view of the general public can be considered for this program.
