Los Alamos MainStreet & Creative District

Los Alamos MainStreet & Creative District is hiring two program managers to support the continued growth and increasing complexity of its programs. These roles provide focused leadership across business support and coworking operations, Creative District initiatives, grant and project management, events, and community engagement.

About Los Alamos MainStreet and Creative District

Los Alamos MainStreet & Creative District (LAMSCD) is an accredited Main Street America program and operates as part of Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation (LACDC), a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization. LAMSCD leads
community-driven economic development efforts that strengthen the vitality, identity, and sustainability of Los Alamos’ commercial districts. LAMSCD oversees and manages numerous annual community events and initiatives, including signature district-wide celebrations and activations, and is also tasked with implementing the Los Alamos
Creative District Plan. Guided by the Main Street Four Points® and targeted Economic Transformation Strategies, LAMSCD supports local businesses, creative sector growth, placemaking, and innovative programming that drives economic development and enhances quality of life for residents, workers, and visitors while fostering vibrant, connected district experiences.

Visitor Center Staff

While there are currently no immediate openings with our Visitor Centers, we do regularly post opportunities for people who love to interact with the public and visitors from all around the world and those who would like to become an ambassador for the attractions and businesses located in Los Alamos and White Rock. General knowledge of the Bradbury Science Museum, Los Alamos History Museum, Los Alamos Nature Center, Manhattan Project National Historical Park, Bandelier National Monument, the Valles Caldera National Preserve, as well as the local business community is encouraged but not a requirement.
