This was a great year for the Youth Business Grant (YBG) of Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation. Grant panelists have selected the 2014 recipients from the applications received. The grant awarded 10 youth from Los Alamos and Espanola grants to aid their summer businesses.

The YBG is a summer program that encourages young people in the region to open and run their own business. The goal of the program is to help young entrepreneurs learn about the day-to-day responsibilities involved in managing a business LACDC has been awarding summer business grants to youth ages 13 to 19 for over 28 years. This program is supported by donations. We are always looking for support for this great program.
