Next Big Idea Drawing Winners
Colin Hehlen of White Rock is the winner of a Kindle Fire given away at the STEM Student Night. Linda Hoffman is the winner of the Beaver Toyota iPad Mini Giveaway. Izze Thomas, a Pinon Elementary 4th grader pictured with her sister Ellie, won a Kindle Fire from the EnergyQuest 2013 Scavanger Hunt Giveaway.
The 2013 Next Big Idea Festival was a wild success despite days of threatening rain. We had visitors and exhibitors from all over the state. One of the hot spots at the event was the Bradbury Science Museum’s booth where kids disassembled and reassembled old technology pieces. New to this year was a dunk tank that raised $540 for next year’s STEM Student Day.
