Thousands of people enjoy festivals, events and programs hosted by Los Alamos MainStreet and Chamber of Commerce every year. These are activities that build the vitality of Los Alamos’ downtown. Last year well over 20,000 people attended our events.
Partnerships are the lifeblood of our programs. Become a sponsor and you
will have the opportunity for thousands of people to recognize you and your commitment to restoring economic vitality to the heart of our community.
MainStreet is a national organization whose mission is downtown revitalization. That is why all of the MainStreet events are held in the downtown area. ‘More people downtown more of the time’ means improved economic impact on businesses. These events are a large part of community building that lead to better quality of life for the community. As most of you know, Los Alamos MainStreet is a program of the Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation (LACDC).
Our sister organization under the LACDC is The Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber works on behalf of its members to improve the business environment. Our organizations work together as a team in these efforts. Join our family of partners that help make a difference in our community. Contact Suzette Fox at 505-661-4844 to discuss how you would like to support our community.

The Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce and Los Alamos MainStreet has been touting the economic benefits of shopping locally for years. Dollars spent with local merchants roll over into the local economy according to the
American Independent Business Alliance. “Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and the glue that
holds communities together,” Gov. Susan Martinez said in a new release, “This event is a great way to promote
local business.” For our organization it’s a great fit and perfect opportunity to give back in the form of a fundraiser for United Way of Northern New Mexico.
